Kevin Passey — President

Kevin Passey recently joined iSchool Campus as vice president. He comes to the company with over 15 years of business start-up management and finance experience. In his current position, Kevin oversees day-to-day operations and management of the K-12 division. Previously, Kevin served as president Rejuvenation Labs, Inc., a lead biotechnology organization engaged in the development of innovative skincare and nutritional supplement products based on breakthrough technology and rigorous research, as well as best-in-class contract manufacturing for clinical services. Kevin also serves on the investment committee advisory board for Crocker Ventures, where he reviews potential investments in the IT and Life Sciences space.

Kevin was also a founding board member and treasurer for the Early Light Academy charter school, where he oversaw all finances, secured funding and developed curriculum and hiring guidelines.

He earned both his MBA and Bachelor degree in International Studies from Brigham Young University.

Derek Crocker — Director of Finance and Accounting

Derek Crocker is the acting Director of Finance and Accounting for iSchool Campus He has been Director of Finance and Accounting for Crocker Ventures since 2011, overseeing finance management for seven separate startup technology companies.

Prior to Crocker Ventures, Derek worked in public accounting in the bay area with Ernst and Young, during which time he audited a variety of technology companies. He graduated with honors from the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University with a Masters of Accounting.

Fun facts: Derek knows the lyrics to every REM song ever written, has some impressive waterski moves, and once got all four wheels of a Suburban off the ground.

Most influential teacher: Mrs. Howe, Junior High Math. She made the subject interesting and it ended up being the subject I enjoyed the most.

Brayden Wardrop — VP Sales

Having served as both an IT Director and Technology Integration Consultant, Brayden oversaw iSchool’s very first 1:1 tablet deployment in Colorado, and has been integral to the implementation of each subsequent iSchool. He oversees the sales and business development departments at iSchool Campus, and also works closely with the professional development and training team. Brayden has worked with a myriad of institutions nationwide; assisting them with developing and carrying out successful technology plans.

Having been raised on a Mac since birth, Brayden is a self proclaimed “Apple Hippie” and holds multiple Apple Certifications. Brayden has a background in sales and marketing and studied Business Communications at The University of Utah.

Fun Facts: Brayden is the proud owner of several pair of colored pants. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, rock climbing, photography, and tries to travel whenever he can -- he's been to 22 countries in the last five years.

Most influential teacher: Mr. Miller. "Through Mr. Miller's mini society project, I learned how thinking outside the box can lead to big ideas that have the power to influence others."

Cameron Blair — VP Technology

Cameron Blair loves all things technology. His passion is evident in his dedication his work and his time spent researching the latest in the field. Drawing on his experience as an IT support specialist for an Internet Service Provider, as well as his expertise in web development and IT troubleshooting, Cam is the fix it man. From creating web sites and fixing computers, to troubleshooting complex networking problems -- Cam does it all.

Cameron enjoys the reward of putting technology to best use in school or enterprise environments. He is instrumental in the management of each iSchool Campus deployment, and serves as chief liaison between the schools and our technology team.

Cam is an Apple Certified Support Professional and an Apple Certified Technical Coordinator.

Fun facts: In his spare time, Cam likes play at all levels — from high adrenalin motorcycles and helicopters to playing hide and seek with his 5 kids. He’s a drummer and enjoys concerts and date nights with his wife.

Most influential teacher:  Mrs Wright, 5th grade.  "She inspired me to want to do well. Always felt like she truly cared about my learning."

Asher Sume — Deployment and Sales

Asher entered the business tech world as an IT Director for an elementary and middle school in Colorado, helping pioneer the way for mobile learning environments. During that time he not only managed hundreds of mobile devices for every student but also played a critical role in discovering new techniques for digital content delivery. Asher has traveled the country promoting the use of technology in the classroom  and has long advocated for technology and its ability to meet the needs of todays digital learners. He has also been an integral part of iSchool’s professional development trainings for administrators and teachers alike.

Asher has a strong career foundation in sales and customer relations.  Having successfully lead and trained sales teams in order to achieve company goals and advancements in new territories. As an essential part of the business development team at iSchool Campus, Asher takes part in bringing in new business opportunities and working with private, charter, and public schools to provide a seamless one-to-one mobile learning plan and a seamless technology implementation.

Fun Fact: If you catch Asher not working, he will most likely be scuba diving, rock climbing, biking, and/or geeking out at home with his Apple gear.

Most influential educator: Jill Durrant, Principal in Jordan School District. "She showed me the importance of setting goals and to never stop learning."

Chad Holbrook — Financial Analyst

Chad Holbrook is intrigued with corporate financial management on an international scale. He spent two years in Hong Kong where he learned to speak fluent Mandarin then tailored his academic pursuits at the University of Utah to capture the dynamics of a global market. He holds a B.A. in Finance from the David Eccles School of Business and a minor in Mandarin Chinese.

Chad has been with iSchool Campus since January 2012 focusing on financial management, cost analysis, and financial projections. He enjoys being part of the iSchool Campus team and the revolutionary changes happening in education today.

Fun facts: In his spare time, Chad can be found on a snowmobile in the back country, he used to race them, or hunting with his father. He's a great upper body dancer and fluent in Chinese.

Most influential teacher: Mr. Knell, Park City Chinese teacher. "He inspired students to work hard, reach their potential and have fun doing it."
